Hey guys!
I can’t believe this semester is already over. It seems like our icebreaking session during our first class together was only last week. It seriously was a pleasure knowing all of you guys – your interests, your personalities, and I can’t forget, your amazing and funny stories. Dr. Tully and every single one of you really made this class the highlight of my days here at Penn State – seriously.
From our deliberation projects in February to our advocacy work last week, I couldn’t imagine spending the second half of this year with anyone else than with you amazing, talented people. When I imagine the best class I have ever taken in my college career here in Pennsylvania, I will surely think of you all. Whether you think it or not, you all are very gifted, and wherever you are down the road, I’m confident the skills you have learned here will aid you all in achieving your aspirations in life.
Once again, I couldn’t imagine being with a better group of people, and it brings a tear to my eye to see you all go. Goodbye for now, and I hope to see you someday: whether it’s on College Ave., chilling in the grass by Old Main, in the student section of Beaver Stadium during the next whiteout game, or in a future class we might share.
Best,
Gavin

Awww this is so sweet. I also really enjoyed this class and couldn’t ask for a better professor and group of students. This was always the highlight of my really dull schedule. I could always count on you guys for a good laugh. It has been a fun semester for sure!
I also agree that the icebreakers were so fun! I’m going to miss this class, from the people to the (easier) course content. I think Dr. Tully made this semester special and I am high-key glad that I was able to switch into this class. It was nice to also get to know more people and form new friendships and unexpected connections. This was an inspiring blog post and I will also remember this class! Does it actually bring a tear to your eye? Lmao
It was a great class, it was even part of the reason that I changed my major! I’m going to miss this class and the dynamic so much and it was so nice meeting you! Have a great summer : )
