I’m interested in goats. Plain and simple, I like them and like to learn about them.
Goats quickly became my favorite animal when I first started working for Megan Rulli, the incredible farmer & owner of Piney Mt. Orchard (a small organic farm). She shared with me some of her knowledge of keeping goats and I became hooked on learning about them. Whenever I was working in the summer heat on the farm and started to feel hot and tired, just seeing the goats inside their fence would make me feel better.
In this blog, I’d like to share some of my love of goats with my readers. I’ve decided not to limit myself in what I write about goats, so you’ll find articles about the science behind their gestation side by side with article about goats in popular culture.
