My Name is Grant Lyons, I am currently attending Penn State University and majoring in finance.  I grew up without a lot of money and have always been very conscious  of my spending. Helping my mom clip coupons started my passion for finance and helping people with there money.

I joined the military in 2016 in order to attend college and while there I learned countless lessons including hard work, discipline and determination. Also with a job working in logistics I was responsible for the property of the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigades equipment. Being responsible for the movement and location of  hundreds of millions of dollars of equipment scattered throughout the middle east was a challenge but it allowed me to understand the importance of   paying attention to detail. It is critically important to have accountability of every decision you have made in this scenario. Developing my skills in this area helped prepare me for school and taught me to learn on the fly which I believe will be a valuable asset as a Financial Analyst.

In my free time I like to go to the gym and play soccer when I can
