Gravitational Wave Constraints on
Dark Compact Objects Workshop
Penn State University
May 16-20, 2022

This workshop, supported through the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the APS via a Convening Award, will accelerate communication between experts on dissipative dark matter models and constraints, compact object formation, and gravitational wave observations. Workshop sessions will consist of a mix of presentations and discussion sessions covering

  • Cooling and compact object formation in the standard model and beyond
  • Large-scale structure simulations and observations targeting self-interacting and dissipative dark matter
  • Particle physics considerations for hidden sector dark matter
  • Gravitational wave data opportunities for dark compact objects
