Guha Manogharan, assistant professor of mechanical engineering and industrial engineering at Penn State, has been awarded the Emmert H. Bashore Faculty Development Professorship. “I am both humbled and grateful for this recognition,” Manogharan said. “Working with students, both in the lab and the classroom, is the favorite part of my job.” The professorship, internally funded by the College of Engineering, is intended to supplement departmental support for an outstanding engineering faculty member during the critical early years of their academic careers.
