eCAADe Conference Theme

A few weeks ago, Mahyar Hadighi, researcher in the HCCD, went abroad to present at eCAADe 2018, the 36th annual conference of Association for Education and Research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe. The conference took place in Lodz, Poland in September 17-21. The conference theme was “computing for a better tomorrow;” Mahyar presented work from his dissertation about understanding and analyzing the shape grammar of William Hajjar’s residential architecture in and around State College; his paper was entitled “Adopting Modern Architecture to a Local Context: A Grammar for Hajjar’s Hybrid Domestic Architecture.”
