To complement the Portfolio, this page demonstrates my out-of-class experiences in research, leadership, and personal travel. This is for you to get to know me more as a person and my interests.
Last July (2016), I came back to Vietnam and volunteered as a Model Class Facilitator for YOFO Saigon Camp (You’re Only Freshmen Once) of the VietAbroader non-profit organization. A month later, I applied for the VietAbroader 2016 Career Conference and got into the final round of applicants. During the 2016 – 2017 school year, I held the position of a Co-THON Chair for the Vietnamese Student Association and an executive member. I was also one of the Sophomore Women Ambassadors for the Women in Engineering Program of College of Engineering. From January 2017 (to present), I started as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Colby’s group of the Department of Materials Science. During Summer 2017, I participated in BP’s Shaping Talent, Energy and Potential (STEP) program in Houston, Texas. Please direct to the links below for detailed information.
