I never knew sweat
Could seep from such places.
Hold the metal there,
Watch your body mechanically react.
Automation.
Slide the silver.
Slow or quick,
Pick
your poison.
Watch the slit turn pale,
The color of skin’s betrayal.
Followed by deep crimson,
Skin flushes, shame
As emotion floods,
The tiny exit you’ve crafted.
