Welcome!

View of the pond at Harrison Hills Park

This site showcases the diversity of flowering plants that can be found in a relatively small, ‘ordinary’ park in western Pennsylvania.  Small or showy, flowers enrich our world and remind us that all life should be respected and celebrated.

Images are organized by the month flowers first appear (links at top), so if you don’t find a particular flower in one month, check an earlier time!
