Hi! I’m Harrison Perrin, a senior at Penn State Altoona. I’m a criminal justice major and am aiming to become an attorney after I graduate. I have a very extreme interest in the law as well as history, something I hope to pick up a minor in before I graduate in the fall of next year. I like reading about court cases that seem to have a low chance of working out for the accused, but turn out in their favor. I also love reading about the history of America from the beginning of the nineteen hundreds to now.  In the time I’m not working, I enjoy playing video games, reading, editing videos, watching movies and documentaries, and unwinding with my pals.

 

Work Experience:

I’ve had a pretty interesting and diverse list of jobs since my time in high school. I started at a golf course where I worked for four years, it was a great job until the winter rolled around which made golf practically unplayable for the rest of the year. From there, I went into a couple of retailing jobs, such as Old Navy, and Hines Feed Store. There, organization and having a fast pace was key. After those jobs, I tried my hand in a lawn care job, which was a very hands on job where I learned a lot about how important and delicate landscaping actually is. I learned to use a lot of tools that are essential to making any yard look beautiful.

 

Where I am today:

I now work at a local PetCo, a job that has honestly given me opportunities that not too many people get to have (For example, look at me with this bird!). I’m hoping to turn this website into something I update often and a place where I can give a little insight as to my progress during my last full year of college. I’m also going to keep updating my academic achievements that I make, along with any advancements in my position at my job. I’m especially excited to see how my writing improves as this class progresses, so here’s to the future!
