The Communications Multimedia Studio
The Communications Multimedia Studio is a multipurpose work space for all students to produce photography and or video productions. The studio is equipped with Generay Torpedo BLT-60 lights on a movable lighting grid allowing students to manipulate overhead light. The studio also includes various accessories such as Alien Bee Strobe lights, LED lights and a green screen. Students have the opportunity to use our facilities and produce portfolio work.
The Communications Production Studio
At the Penn State Harrisburg Communications program we pride ourselves on offering the best facilities and equipment for all our students. The Communications Production Studio is a collaborative space where students have access to iMac computers for editing various projects. All iMac computers have access to all Adobe platforms. From photo editing to video editing, all communications students are welcomed to be as creative as they’d like. The Communication production studio also includes a state of the art EPSON printer. Students have access to printing out various hard copy posters and projects throughout the semester. Finally the production studio is a location where all students are welcome to work, collaborate and socialize throughout their experience at Penn State Harrisburg.
The Communications Whisper Room
The Communications Whisper Room is an area where students have access to three whisper booths for advanced audio recordings. Each room is equipped with a high-end studio microphone, digital interface and an iMac with access to all Adobe Creative Cloud software. The booths also include recording microphones that are adaptable to various programs such as Adobe Audition, Garage band, and more. The studio contains sound isolation booths for vocal recording, music production, podcasting and musical instrument practice. In the room there is also a computer work station where students can continue working on various projects. The perfect facility for audio production.
