Our group values and encourages diversity and recognizes that it enhances both our research and our quality of life, as well as that of others. We recognize our privilege, and our associated responsibility, in carrying out research. We recognize that research truly benefits from a diverse set of minds tackling problems from different angles, and for this to be achieved, the atmosphere must enable it. We strive to promote an atmosphere of mutual respect in our laboratory and in all of our research group interactions, both in and out of the lab.
For the reasons above, our research group is firmly committed to actively fostering a welcoming and open environment in which all people are treated with respect, regardless of their race, skin color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, national/ancestral origins, physical/mental abilities, personality traits, or age.
