Eating the Alphabet Highlight

Throughout the school year, participating preschool classrooms complete 28 weekly Eating the Alphabet (ETA) lessons. Each week the children learn about and taste a new healthy food from A-Z.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, a total of 1,617 ETA lessons were delivered to 955 preschoolers (ages 3-5) across 61 classrooms.

We are excited to be working with 68 preschool classrooms in the 2024-2025 academic year.

PA Farm to School Network Story

Our 2024 gardening projects at Bright Futures Learning Center were showcased in the Pennsylvania Farm to School Network website for National Farm to School Month.
