RCl Blog #6- Cut down Climate Change

Intro:

Climate sciecne has been relevant dating back to ancient greece wehn they believed in various myths that suggested that cutting down trees resulted in increased rainfall. As time went on more theories about the climate on Earth arose, french scientists proposed that the atmosphere acted as a sort of glass that trapped infrared light on the surface. During the industrial revolution scientists began to theorize that humans made an impoact on teh global climate but only when the summer of 1988 set record high tempuratures arounf the world did there become a call to action about climate change. After this summer the International Pannel on Climate Change was formed and as was the Kyoto Protocol. When the majority of people around the globe were directly affected by climate change they began to work together to try and slow it down.

A. I will go over the defenitions and scientific causes of climate change then explain the science that leup to the realization of human impacted climate change and how people reacted to that realization. Then I will continue on about current efforts adn why it is an importnat change.

B. I will talk about the way people shifted, becasue the problem seemed so much more real to them using sources about why people believe in climate change and use factual evidence to show how people changed.

C. I will talk about the non-believers of climate change and the reasons they give for not supporting the efforts to slow climate change, and I will also give questions about how the world could possibly shift again to be even more concious of the global implications they cn have especially during the pandemic.

Conclusion: I will sum up the arguments I ahve made and make a statement about the future implications of climate change.
