Hey Happy Valley! I know that your week may be stressful, or your test may not have gone as well as you had hope, but just around the corner is the spookiest holiday to cheer you up! Halloween is this Saturday and to blow off some steam after the long days I have some great movies for you to check out and get into the scary spirit.
First, is a personal favorite of mine, Donnie Darko. This is a movie about a skytzophrenic teenager who has teh capability to save the world after a plane engine crashes into his room. There is drama, suspense, science fiction, and a scary bunny costume. What more could you want!
Another great movie, for those of you who are less into suspense thrillers, is a disney classic Casper. Casper is a fun family movie about a father and daughter moving into a new house that is haunted by Casper, a friendly ghost.
Movies can be a great way to destress with your friends after a long day of school work. I find it best to set a time when you want to study and setting a cut off time at night when you are going to take time for yourself. That way you feel like you have worked to earn a movie night! Whatever you do for this holiday, make sure to have fun and be safe. Have a spooy halloween Happy Valley!
