Oatmeal… 4 Ways!

An energizing breakfast to keep you going all morning long!

Ingredients:​

  • ½ c oats (rolled or quick oats)​
  • 1 c water or milk​
  • Cinnamon, to taste​
  • Option 1: Sliced Bananas and Peanut Butter​
  • Option 2: Blueberries and Walnuts​
  • Option 3: Apples and Pecans​
  • Option 4: Walnuts and Maple Syrup

Directions:​

  1. Add oats to a microwave-safe bowl.​
  2. Add just enough water to cover oats in the bowl (for creamier oats, use mixture of water and milk – use more water than milk).​
  3. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.​
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.​
  5. Add toppings as desired, like maple syrup to option 2.​
  6. For Option 3, baking the apples at 400℉ with some honey and cinnamon make this version extra tasty!​
