The Ph.D. degree is a research-oriented degree that includes at least one year of full-time study in residence at University Park. The M.Ed. degree can be a practice-oriented degree or a research-oriented degree; it can completed fully online or in residence at University Park.
- Early January is the deadline for fall admission for Ph.D. students who are seeking graduate funding.
- A second fall admission date is in early March; it is for students not seeking funding.
- Early October is the deadline for spring admission (for students not seeking funding).
