State College High School – Fitness Center (Strength & Conditioning) Internship

The State College Area High School is looking for 2 Penn State Kinesiology students (Women or Men) to complete an internship with Mrs Diane Swauger (Strength and Conditioning Director) @ State High Fitness Center.

State College Athletics

1. Hands on training with student athletes and fitness club members.

2. Facility operations / administration & supervision.

3. Opportunity to practice exercise prescription.

4. NSCA CSCS Prep work.

Applicants need to email their resume and cover letter to Paul Hefty – pdh16@psu.edu by April 1st. Students will then be interviewed and selected before fall semester is completed – allowing staff meetings to be attended before the semester is completed.

Job Title – Sports Events and Basketball Operations Interns

Nittany Valley Sports Centre is looking for 2 Penn State Kinesiology students to complete an internship with the COED sports complex.  Interns will assist the management staff in executing daily operations.  These include scheduling, facility management, program assistance, incorporating and designing new programs, hosting tournaments, and interacting with the local food and hotel industries.  Interns will work directly with Director of Major Events – Sean Kader.    *CLICK on link below
