Dr. Kamens was the recipient of a Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute Grant. The project titled, “The influence of adolescent social stress on opioid behaviors and gene expression” will follow up on recent work from our laboratory on the long-term consequences of stress during adolescence. Dr. Sonia Cavigelli, Dr. Sue Grigson, and Dr. Diana Dishbein are co-investigators.
