Bismuth is yet another one of my favorite stones. Instead of a crystal, bismuth is actually a metal with a crystalline structure. It is usually partially manmade, in which liquid bismuth is cooled by hand. This gives bismuth its unique shape. It’s actually pretty sharp to the touch, and forms incredible linear like patterns that you can see in the photos below. In addition to its unique shape, it has a unique color as well. The best way I can describe it is a chrome-like metallic rainbow. The beautiful colors are what originally drew me to bismuth, and I have since fallen in love with it and it’s ability.
Personally, I use bismuth in mindfulness meditations as well as while doing work. Bismuth is known to bring positive, transformative changes into your life. If you feel as if you’re stuck and cannot progress in some way, bismuth can help guide you in the right direction. It is known to aid in astral travel and communication with the beyond. When I have writer’s block, I meditate with a few stones, but bismuth is always included. It helps sort out the mess of ideas in my brain into a more understandable train of ideas. In terms of spiritual changes, I have felt much more in tune with myself since I’ve started using bismuth.
Bismuth is highly regarded for its ability to help one focus. As I said, it’s great at sorting your thoughts out. Because of this, you become more focused on the task at hand, instead of stressed or overwhelmed about other tasks. This is why bismuth is great for both spiritual and practical work as it puts you in a calm and focused headspace.
Another lesser known use of bismuth is for the amplification and circulation of internal energy. This energy is known as Kundalini and is associated with yoga practices. This stone takes the positive energy around you and uses it to instill positive change in your life. It can help with feelings of loneliness, as it pushes you to focus on your own energy and growth. Because of this focus on yourself, using bismuth can help with self confidence and aid one on their personal spiritual journey.
Bismuth is a unique stone as I mentioned earlier. Bismuth is a pure element and is number 83 on the periodic table. Because it is composed of a single element, it is known as a purifier stone. These stones can clear the space of negative energy and can help purge oneself of negative thoughts and energy.
My sister is actually really connected with Bismuth. She uses it all the time to help in her meditations when she is focusing on school, her homework, and her future. My mom also uses it quite often to help her. She astral projects fairly often and has always found Bismuth to be a great crystal to help her stay grounded and connect with the other side. Personally, I just think it is super pretty but I do still like keeping it around for the occasional meditation.
The purifier stone is a cool “element” of bismuth. I saw bismuth in its pure form in Pittsburgh, and I was very fascinated with its look. I felt a small portion of it too. I find it so interesting that you use them in the ways that you do. I’ll have to try it out sometime.
