Submission Checklist
- Your submission is directly relevant to postsecondary education (including public and private universities, colleges, and community colleges)
- Your submission falls into one of the following categories:

- a. Research paper, including those focusing on preliminary or pilot-study findings

- b. Policy or legal analysis

- c. Literature review that discloses relevant gaps in existing research and areas for further investigation

- d. Theoretical analysis of an important issue in higher education
- e. Historical paper

- You have removed all identifying information from the manuscript (e.g., your name, self-references, references to your home institution), including identifying properties in Word documents. To do this in Word, click on the Tools Menu > Options > Security > Remove Personal Information from File Properties > Save.
- Your submission follows APA formatting guidelines as per the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
- You have included an abstract of 75 to 100 words
- All citations have been checked for inclusion in the reference list
- You have included your name, institution and program name, mailing address, and the category of your submission (as described in item 2a-e) in the email or cover letter
- The first author is a current graduate student or wrote the paper while in graduate school
