About Me

I am excited about the past and future of life. I want to spend my career discovering how life arose on this planet, what shaped it to become what it is now, and whether it is rare or abundant in the universe.

I am a graduate student in the House Research Group studying Geosciences and Astrobiology at Penn State. Much of the research I am doing is associated with the Laboratory for Agnostic Biosignatures, a new NASA Astrobiology Research Coordination Network. This year I will also be part of NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory mission.
