Completion of Pledge Book
The completion of the pledge book is one of the fundamental requirements that must be met in order to become a member of the Epsilon Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu. It represents a continuation of the traditional pledge requirements which have existed since the founding of the Epsilon Chapter in 1909.
Payment of the one-time $80 initiation fee
Includes a lifetime membership to Eta Kappa Nu.
Checks or Cash are accepted. Checks should be made payable to Eta Kappa Nu Association and delivered along with the pledge book.
If the fee is a problem, please speak to an HKN officer or to one of the faculty advisors, Dr. Timothy Kane
Maintaining Active Membership
Students will be required to contribute 2 hours of time per semester to the organization in order to maintain active membership status.
Active members will receive all of the benefits of the local HKN chapter. If you become an inactive member you will lose your position in the HKN resume book, lose access to HKN specific company opportunities, lose eligibility for the James M. Barnak Scholarship opportunity, eligibility for chair or executive positions and lose access to any other new or old HKN member specific event.
NOTE: Your inactive or active local chapter status does not change your global HKN status. After paying the initiation fee you are a permanent global HKN member.
Members will be required to submit their resumes to the resume book in order to complete induction.
