The James M. Barnak /Eta Kappa Nu Outstanding Student Award is an annual scholarship available to Penn State HKN members. This award is meant to recognize an outstanding undergraduate electrical engineering student who is an active member of the Eta Kappa Nu Association. Candidates for the scholarship are review towards the end of the spring semester and you may submit anytime before then.
Candidates will be considered based on the following criteria:
- At least a junior in academic standing
- Member of Eta Kappa Nu at Penn State
- Exhibit academic achievement
- Participate in professional or extra-curricular activities
- Shows promise as a successful electrical engineer
