Do you remember when Lil’ Kim was on DWTS? Me either.
Dancing with the Stars is one of those reality competition shows that has had so many celebrities that it’s impossible to remember them all. From Kim Kardashian to Bill Nye to “The Situation”, the show has had an array of guests over it’s 30 seasons that still shock us to this day. Here’s a list of my favorite celebrities that you may have totally forgotten were ever on DWTS.
Kim Kardashian
Way back in 2008 on Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars, Kim Kardashian got her groove on with partner Mark Ballas. Brooke Burke ultimately took home the trophy, while Kim received some poor feedback from judges. Wondering if any other Kardashians will make an appearance on the show any time soon? Maybe we will see a Kendall vs Kylie showdown!

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino
You may know this celeb from another reality show, Jersey Shore, but this competition was no day at the beach for Mike! The Situation was partnered with Karina Smirnoff for Season 11 of DWTS in 2010, and caused a scene after receiving low scores on his Tango performance. You can take the man out of Jersey but you can’t take Jersey out of the man! Or, Staten Island, I guess?

Mark Cuban
No, that’s not a shark in the water, it’s Mark Cuban performing a Jive with partner Kym Johnson on Season 5 of Dancing with the Stars! Funnily enough, Mark’s fellow Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec also appeared on the show in 2015, and was also partnered with Kym. That partnership was the start of something beautiful, sparking a romance that led to a marriage between Robert and Kym in 2016. Guess it wasn’t a classic DWTS showmance after all!

Vanilla Ice
Ice Ice Baby!! Rapper Vanilla Ice is more than just a rapper, he’s a dancer too! Appearing on Season 23 of the show, Vanilla Ice was eliminated 4th in the competition. His partner Witney Carson got some good moves out of him for the few weeks he was on the show, but he did not make it to the finale. Does this mean Eminem is next?

Mario Lopez
Extra Extra! Mario Lopez made an appearance on Season 3 of DWTS alongside partner and girlfriend Karina Smirnoff. The pair came in second place, ultimately losing to NFL running back Emmitt Smith, but put up a good fight throughout the season. The couple dated from 2006-2008, although the Saved By The Bell is currently married with children. Dancing with the Stars has had quite the array of on-air personalities, from people like Tucker Carlson to Brooke Burke to Erin Andrews.

Billy Ray Cyrus
Billy Ray Cyrus, famously known for his hits like “I Want My Mullet Back” and “Achy Breaky Heart”, and of course being a father to pop-star Miley Cyrus, appeared on season 4 of DWTS. The singer and Hannah Montana star made it to the quarter finals with partner Karina Smirnoff before getting eliminated in Week 8 and ending in 5th place. Billy Ray really has done it all, from Country to Christian music to acting to reality tv, there’s nothing this famous dad can’t do!

Floyd Mayweather
The show has a had a large variety of athletes throughout it’s previous seasons, including several NFL and NBA stars. Professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, who is most commonly thought of in reference to his fight with Connor McGregor, appeared on DWTS way back in Season 5. Also partnered with Karina Smirnoff, the pair were only in the competition for 4 weeks after receiving low scores for their Cha Cha, Quickstep and Jive. Mayweather has been in the news recently for his big fight with YouTuber Logan Paul.

Lil’ Kim
If you’re not a huge rap fan, you may not know Lil’ Kim. The 47 year old rapper is best known for her hits like “Lady Marmalade”, “Crush on You” and “Notorious B.I.G.”. Partnered with now judge, Derek Hough, Lil’ Kim appeared on season 8 of DWTS, making it to week 9 before getting eliminated. Now, any time a celebrity is partnered with Derek they make it far, so this comes as no shock. The couple received high scores the entire season, but ended up losing to fan favorite Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas.

David Hasselhoff
“The Hoff” himself was on Dancing with the Stars, can you believe it? Known for his roles in The Young and The Restless, Baywatch and Red Notice, the actor was partnered with Kym Johnson on season 11 back in 2010 and was only in the competition for a short time, getting eliminated on the very first week. So, if you didn’t know he was on the show and felt like watching, here is his only dance!

Gavin DeGraw
Gavin DeGraw doesn’t want be anything other than… a pro-dancer! DeGraw was yet another celebrity partnered with Karina Smirnoff. The singer made it to week 5 before ultimately getting sent home. He is known for his album “Chariot” and single “I Don’t Wanna Be”, which was used as the theme song for fan favorite tv show One Tree Hill. His most recent album release was in 2016 for “Something Worth Saving”, which is probably why you haven’t thought about him until just now.

Lisa Vanderpump
Vanderpump rules! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joined the season 16 cast of DWTS in 2013 alongside partner Gleb Savchenko. Sadly, Lisa Vanderpump only made it to week 4 of the competition before being eliminated, which was definitely not a surprise to fans after she received a majority score of 6s throughout the previous weeks. Vanderpump stated she had a “emotional affair” with partner Gleb and “fell for his charm” according to US Magazine. She “adored him” and honestly, don’t we all adore Gleb? I can’t imagine having any other reaction Lisa, sorry your time with him was so short.

Snooki (Nicole Polizzi)
So, I guess Mike wasn’t the only Jersey Shore star we forgot appeared on DWTS! Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, appeared on the reality competition show in 2013 with her partner Sasha Farber. Although she averaged high scores each week, Snooki was ultimately kicked off during week 7 following a team freestyle dance. It’s nice to see Snooki in some different hairstyles, though. Her and Sasha were a great pairing, which most can agree, at least height-wise!

Corbin Bleu
High School Musical is over but Corbin Bleu is still ready to dance. Appearing on the show back in 2013, the actor was paired with… you guessed it, Karina Smirnoff. It’s quite obvious Corbin took his Jump In! and HSM dance skills to the ballroom in Season 17, as he put up a good fight in the competition. The couple made it all the way to the finale but came in 2nd place.

While popularity for Dancing with the Stars tends to come and go, it is consistently providing viewers with celebrity content you can’t get anywhere else. DWTS seems to be the reality show that keeps on giving. Stars that appeared back in the early 2000s would probably never come on a show like this now, so it’s always enjoyable to look back on the celebrities and the dance careers we forgot about!
