“I wanted to help jumpstart Hope Here Hope Now and carry on as President during my senior year because I have been passionate about this issue since high school. I strongly believe that it is topic that is silenced and one that many people do not consider occurring a lot closer than just overseas. Having the opportunity to spread awareness in the Penn State and State College community is amazing. As well as, being able to give back to shelters in the area that aid human trafficking survivors — one of the best parts!”

Vice President: Rae Narun

Major: Psychology

“I got involved in Hope Here Hope Now my sophomore year because I felt that there was a deficit in awareness and information surrounding the issue of human trafficking.”

“I joined Hope Here Hope Now because I think that it is vital to spread awareness about an issue that a majority of people do not know about and arrange many misconceptions. Moreover, it is important because anyone can become a potential victim at any time.”
