80% of sex trafficking victims are women and girls

Our mission is to bring an end to the issue of sex trafficking by empowering students of Penn State and the surrounding cities through education, awareness, and raising funds. We aim to focus on the women/girls who are victims of sex trafficking and educate women on the signs of trafficking.

 

In 2016, 1 in 6 endangered runaways reported to  the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children were likely sex trafficking victims.
