Flipping the Classroom – Simply Speaking – YouTube.
When creating a hybrid course, often the instructor also adds a flipped classroom approach. This means that the direct instruction of the course is moved from the face-to-face group setting to an individual setting conducted at their convenience. This results in face-to-face class having more time to explore an interactive learning environment including group work and allowing students more opportunities engage with the instructor. The Flipping the Classroom – Simply Speaking video was created at Penn State and explains this concept in detail.
