On Tuesday night my friends and I decided to have a girls night where we would just watch movies and binge on food. We all showered, got into comfy clothes and met in Martin at my friends Megan and Katey’s dorm. We decided we needed some snacks, and all went to the market to get random foods we had a craving for. Before we left for the market, Katey had an urge to take pictures with her Canon camera, so in our comfy “shlumped” clothes we went to the Tennis courts behind Martin after we went to the market and took a bunch of pictures. We had a mini photoshoot and took individual pictures and group photos too. Katey felt that she has yet to post any pictures since she has gotten to campus, and felt like her current pictures on Instagram are not portraying what she actually looks like right now, so she wanted to change that. We took goofy pictures along with serious and cute ones too. We even posed with our snacks for the fun of it.
When we went to the market I got some cinnamon toast crunch, almond milk for the cereal, air heads extremes candy bites, and I think 3 bags of chips. I’m not going to lie I forgot what the others got at the market, but we all ate well that night! We went back to the room, set up the floor between the two beds with pillows and blankets to make it one big comfy area where we could all lay down and relax. Katey then set her laptop up for the movie because they can’t connect their tv to the wifi for some reason, and then we started watching the movie After We Collided. It’s basically a chick flick and a teenage version of Fifty Shades of Grey, but it is so good and I highly recommend if you have never heard of it. After We Collided is the sequel to the first one called After, so if you want a movie night with your girls then I suggest watching those two movies! We got so into the movie and the food we where munching down on we completely forgot to do face masks, but it is okay because at least we got one movie night in with the girls before leaving back home for two months!
This one was not a key thing to do from my bucket list, but like last week, I didn’t do anything major, and I did have a girls night on my bucket list, so I figured I would write about it!
Hey Izabel!
This sounds like such a fun night! Eating good food and watching a good movie is the best combination. I lOve air heads extreme candy bites. I totally feel what your friend Katey was talking about, my Instagram pictures are so old and I definitely don’t look like that anymore. I’m going to have to get some of my friends together to have a photo shoot. I’ve seen After and some clips from After We Collided, but now I definitely have to watch it. Maybe I’ll do that this weekend. I’ve really enjoyed reading about your bucket list and getting some ideas for my own! Have a great break:)
Hi Izabel!
I just want to start off by saying you can never go wrong with a movie night with some of your closest friends binging on your all time favorite snacks. I also LOVED the movie After We Collided, in my opinion it was much better than the first one. It makes me sad when I think about leaving my friends I made here at State College but I am definitely excited to go home for a few months:)
