Boundaries is an ongoing conversation amongst leading scholars in the fields of Biology, Anthropology, Feminist Science Studies, and Critical Race Studies to address the question, “What does it mean to be human, today?” Our speakers each present a public lecture and a seminar, and will be returning in the Spring of 2017 to engage each other’s work. The idea, then, is that the lectures are meant as a conversation-in-progress. To add to this ongoing dialogue, we have asked scholars across the disciplines to comment on a speaker’s lecture or essays. The pages in this section contain both the original lectures as well as the responses they provoked.
