Dika Handayani is a PhD candidate in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing from Cal Poly Pomona. Due to her research interest in manufacturing processes, such casting and machining, she is currently working on the machinability study of Austempered Ductile Iron. In addition to her research, Dika also had the opportunity to continue her passion in teaching by working as a teaching assistant for IE 311 course in Fall 2015 and an instructor for the same course in Spring and Summer 2016.
Lieutenant Colonel Eric Swenson is a United States Army officer and graduated with a PhD in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University in Spring 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Penn State and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. Eric has served in the Army Corps of Engineers since 1998. His research interests involve the application of industrial engineering methods to healthcare.
