I started the PAX (Physics and Astrophysics at the eXtreme) workshop series when I moved to Penn State in 2016. It was the result of brainstorming with many colleagues including Abhay Ashtekar, Emanuele Berti, Chris Van Den Broeck, Alessandra Buonanno and Salvatore Vitale.
