Interactive High-Fidelity Prototype

Fidelity, Approach, & Scope

This is an interactive high-fidelity prototype of the app – Uni.Share!

The prototype is created in Figma. It presents all system functionalities with a completed user interface design and interactive user experience to allow empirical evaluations with users’ usability testing in the later evaluation phase.

About

This is a place where students can get & share all the information they need for their university. It is a decentralized C2C application self-driven by the student community, where motivation comes from a heart of helping others and a reward system consists of virtual currency, as known as “Uni.Corn.”

Prototype Walkthrough

To begin with, users will need to enter their school’s name in order to connect to their university community, as well as their major and other personal info for better automated suggestions. Users will then pick a few topics that they’re interested in and click “explore”.

In the main page, the topics users chose will be shown in the main page that act as widgets. Each widget is linked to a certain category that shows all the related posts of the topic.

Inside the category page, users can customize and can either remove a topic category or add a new one.

At the top of the home page, the most popular featured posts will be shown, which users can click the “explore all” button and you’ll be able to see all the posts posted by users.

Users can sort these posts according to the popularity, time, or category.

Inside each post, users can see which category it is. And these corn numbers, which are called Uni.corn. (“coin”), show the popularity based on the reward system. It is the main liquidity in our app community for making transactions, exchanging for real world reward. For example, when a user gives out one “like”, he/she would bring 20 Uni.Corn to the owner of this post.

Users can also search for posts using related keywords and post an information or questions, or even post about something users want to sell and add its category when posting.

In the Profile Page, users can see their current number of corns, their shares, and there will also be a rating system for keeping track of users’ credibility, which reflects users’ behavior and could be used as a consideration feature while transaction happens. Depending on the user’s weight of share, they can even vote for a change in the app’s design or feature! Here users can see their posts, corn history, as well as a list of rewards they can exchange using their corn.
