Norooz General Meeting

Location: 102 Leonhard Bldg, University Park
Date & Time: Saturday Feb 24 at 4 PM – 6 PM

Dear ISA members,

As we are approaching Norooz 1397, let’s plan for a fabulous gala! This year’s Norooz celebration will be on March 17, and therefore, we need to gather about and make groups in order to prepare for it. As you know, Penn State ISA has one of the largest Iranian communities in the US and every year we host more than 350 people in Norooz gala, one of the largest in the country! Thus as you can imagine, we need at least 50 volunteers to form groups to handle the event. Groups such as a traditional dance group, live music, hosting, logistics, dinner services, etc. and this coming Saturday, Feb the 24th, we will gather to discuss our preparation plans and form these groups. Remember, such a profound and heavyweight event will just be as glorious as YOU make it be. Please move mountains if you have to and join us! There would be free pizza for you!

Cheers,

ISA officers
