The Lunar New Year is a vibrant and colorful celebration that marks the start of a new lunar year. The Chinese Student Association (CSA), and Global Ambassadors organized an event for the same this past Sunday (22nd Jan) at Penn State Harrisburg. The event was filled with a variety of traditional Chinese performances, such as lion dances, musical performances and traditional Chinese snacks. It was very well attended, especially for an event scheduled on a Sunday! The celebration carried on to the next day featuring giveaways of Chinese snacks and a rabbit scavenger hunt, which was a fun and interactive way for attendees to participate in the celebration. Rabbit plushies were hidden throughout the university, and students could get clues and hunt for them. All throughout, a replay of the CCTV New Year’s Gala was being broadcasted in Stacks.
