Robot hounds enforcing social distancing in parks

The Singapore government recently announced that it will start deploying a yellow and black robot dog Spot developed by Boston Dynamics in a local park to remind pedestrians to keep a safe distance and help control the spread of the new coronavirus.

Although people have mixed opinions about the appearance of robot dogs, some people think this is an innovation that is beneficial to the epidemic, and some people have not been able to accept the sudden emergence of “beasts” in the park.

But it is undeniable that various robots do play a great role in reducing the number of people gathering and working during the epidemic, and the situation of the epidemic has also contributed to the production and application of some robots.
