It is retained for 3 months.

They aim to fulfill all requests in 45 days, but they can add an extra 45 days with reasonable explanation

12) (CCPA) – Based on your review, provide a summary indicating whether you believe WeChat complies with the CCPA.

No, I do not think it does. The age requirements vary for both documents and also the CCPA explicitly states how we have a right to delete or opt out of sharing personal information and WeChat stores that data and it could be potentially in the hands of third parties because they would not be held liable for that.

Tik Tok DIY’s

Link

I swore off the Tik Tok app for the longest time just because I always thought it was a waste of time and nothing interesting to me. However, this pandemic made me want to look deeper into the app and see what it offers. So far I have found great workouts, homemade recipes, cleanses, and crafts. I have expanded my knowledge of food and how to make healthy recipes and cleanses while I’m home. I also have discovered new trendy crafts that have kept me pretty occupied. Tik Tok has offered so many valuable resources and things to do while I am stuck in the house. I really underestimated this app and how much it had to offer but I am learning new things through it everyday. The little hacks whether it would be a new way to put on makeup or how to wear something in a new trendy way, have impacted my everyday life. I recommend this app to everyone now. Not only does it offer hilarious humor when your home bored but also shows how many things people have around the world to offer for your personal use and well-being. This app has even offered tips on ways to stay healthy during all of this and also how to make your own face masks.

Self Quarantining with the Internet

Take it from me first hand, I tested positive for COVID-19 and was made aware of these results over the last few weeks. Isolation is a scary concept for the human race. We are social creatures who rely on just about any source of social interaction we can get. Whether that would be hanging with friends, talking on the phone, or even posting on instagram. Being someone who struggles vastly with anxiety and being alone, hearing that I had to self quarantine myself for 2 weeks was life changing. The fact that I had this awful sickness wasn’t even my main concern, as sad as that may seem. How was I going to go that long without seeing my friends? How was I going to live with the rest of my semester being canceled? These all seem like such petty concerns, but to someone who thinks the way I do it may feel like the world is ending. The internet has stepped up its game in so many comforting ways during these past weeks. I am able to chat with my friends via zoom and still attend all my classes. I have been able to talk to distant relatives, follow social media influencers who blog about what they do during this quarantine time, I can do  interactive workouts with influencers over social media, and I can learn more about this virus and what people who also have it have to say. I was even fortunate enough when I started showing symptoms to video chat with a doctor instead of having to go into a clinic and risk putting not only myself but others at danger.People have really been using social media as a platform to spread positivity during these lonely times and I have been so grateful to witness that first hand. I know social media often has a bad stigma to it and is thought of as a waste of time, but in times like this where we cannot work, go to school, or really see any of our friends, it is all we have. I am thankful to have realized how much, even though we are physically by ourselves, we are together through social media.
