Close-ups are a form of Point of View or perceptive. It is an artistic choice. When we get close to a subject, we can create an image that we normally would not really see with our eyes since we rarely get that close. The close-up can be anything, a face, an eye, a flower, a toy soldier. Things look different when we get close-up. Some examples of close-ups are below.

Assignment:
Your assignment will be to go on a photo shoot and try to take close-up photos. Please post two unique photos from this shoot and post comments on your photo including where it was taken and other relevant information. Also post a comment on someone else’s photo. All plagiarism rules still apply.
