Game Pitch Presentation Summaries

J-3 Studios: Millennium Hell
2.5 platform fighter, influenced by super smash bros, using Unity 3D. Each character has some lore, about where they came from throughout the galaxy. key mechanic is combining platforming (dodging debris, for example) with the player vs. player fighting.

Cracked Astronaut Games: Time Traveling Assassin
Top-down shooter, using Unity 3D. The character’s time traveling device breaks, and he’s stuck on a planet, fighting through underground levels to fix his device and leave the planet. Each level will be unique and might feature puzzles, timers, unlimited enemy waves, mazes or bosses. Weapons and ammo are also key mechanics, as your weapons can quickly run out of ammo and you’ll need to fall back on other strategies.

Team no-name: Heroes United
Game that brings back nostalgia by leveraging characters like mario, kirby, sonic and mega-man. The player can hot-swap between each hero, using their specific abilities on each level as needed. Two heroes are designed to be casual, while another two more hardcore. The game is a side-scroller, but also will scroll vertically on some levels. Will need to defeat traditional bad guys/bosses from each of the heroe’s original games.

Team Awesome Sauce: Kill Those Zambies
Merc, sent to an island to find out what’s going on. The game is a mash-up of tower defense and zombie shooter, made in Unity 3D. The game will include both player weapons, as well as a variety of towers to place throughout the map. Game objects will also play an important role, such as canisters that can be placed, then shot to create massive explosions as zombies approach.
