We’ve been accepted into the Immersive Analytics 2017 workshop at IEEE VIS conference in Phoenix, Arizona on October 1st! It is a peer-reviewed conference paper, and we will update with the DOI once it is assigned.

The paper is “Take a Walk: Evaluating Movement Types for Data Visualization in Immersive Virtual Reality” by Mark Simpson, Jiayan Zhao, and Alexander Klippel, which uses part of the immersive analytics system to conduct a pilot experiment testing the effect different types of movement in a virtual environment on interpreting 3D data visualizations. Mark will be presenting the paper at the workshop in person.
