#KINDNESSrocks

Students, faculty, staff, and community members walking around campus stand a good chance of finding a Kindness Rock under a tree, on a bench, or nestled in the grass somewhere.

Megan Murphy, founder of the Kindness Rocks Project, started placing rocks, painted with inspirational quotes and sayings, on the beaches of Cape Cod, and now people from all around the world are doing the same thing. The Kindness Rocks Project inspires people everywhere to be nice to one another and find joy in simple things. “One message can change someone’s day, outlook, or life, and that’s what this project does,” says Murphy.

Here are just a few of the Kindness Rocks found at Penn State Altoona.
