Happy New Year from Penn State Altoona! As we embark on the start of a new year, I would like to reflect on all that we have accomplished
and celebrated in 2019.

This past year has been one of transition for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. We said goodbye to two staff members through retirement and promotion but welcomed a new hire in Alumni Relations and one in Development.

Over the last year, our office orchestrated 21 events with alumni, donors, friends, students, faculty, staff, and our community. Commemorating Penn State Altoona’s 80th year on Sept. 13 was a great way to begin a new academic year of celebratory events with more to come in 2020.

Penn State Altoona had its highest fiscal year ever in gift commitments at $4.9 million. I am extremely excited about our accomplishments and the upward trajectory that Penn State Altoona fundraising is experiencing. Through the generosity of our Penn State Altoona alumni and friends, we are able to deliver transformational experiences to our students. Words cannot express our gratitude for your continued support.

Thank you, and Happy New Year from all of us!

From the Chancellor and Dean
"We continue to meet our founders’ vision for Penn State Altoona and our community by providing the highest quality and most affordable education possible."
