Hundreds of people gathered to celebrate the holiday season at the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence during downtown Altoona’s annual Spirit of Christmas Parade Thursday, December 1, 2016.

Hosted by the Penn State Altoona Alumni Society to promote the 2017 Winter Plunge, guests were offered hot chocolate and cookies and the opportunity to have a special holiday photo taken with the official Winter Plunge mascot, Bear E. White. The Alumni Society partnered with students from the Blue & White Society and Sheetz Fellows Program for this inaugural event.
