Last month, the Penn State Altoona Enactus team attended the Enactus United States National Exposition in St. Louis, Missouri, and placed third in their league.

Sixteen students competed in the May competition—Aaron Kennedy, Eric Brought, Frank Amabile, Jacob Byers, Jared Wood, Matthew S Cifolelli, Max Saltzman, Tyler Edmiston, Ben Shetler, Devonte Charles, Matt Parsley, Karissa Buzzella, Hannah Zubky, Macey Lucas, Victoria Huscilowitc, and Ching Man Chew.

Made up of forty Penn State Altoona students from five countries, the Enactus team represents seventeen academic disciplines. The Enactus Team has four projects—Go Green, Beza Project, New Beginnings, and Bella Lucia—in addition to having a marketing team and competition team.

Phil and Roz Sky, longtime friends and benefactors of Penn State Altoona, recently made a gift of $1,000 to support the Enactus team’s various projects.

Roz presented the $1,000 check to Enactus students at one of the weekly meetings and remarked, “Phil and I are so impressed by your enthusiasm, dedication, and great efforts in your presentations, activities and all you do. We are inspired by you.”
