I am a senior at Pennsylvania State University majoring in chemical engineering. Some of my lifelong interests are soccer, listening to music, and traveling. Through soccer, I learned the importance of commitment, collaboration as a team, and practice. Also, traveling has allowed me to immerse myself in different cultures other than my own. When I joined my high school engineering team, I realized that engineering would best suit what I enjoy doing, which is applying my knowledge of sciences and ability to critically think to solve real-world issues in a team. I chose chemical engineering since it offers a universal spectrum of industries to work in. Specifically, my industry interests are currently in pharmaceuticals due to being able to positively affect the lives of people.
