WIP: E-Portfolio

Nothing too fancy just yet.

So far I’m thinking I’ll include a few Passion blogs from the first semester (The Path is definitely one that I want to include), at least one War Diary (from my CAS 373 class), perhaps an essay I wrote for English 200H this semester. What I mainly wish to convey is my ability to write creatively, persasively, informatively, or however the situation may dictate. I hope my portfolio conveys not only good writing style and substance, but also flexibility and creativity in how I go about things.

Hi, Jeff: This all sounds great! The projects you’ve identified thus far will work well for this project, and I’m glad you’re planning to include projects from a number of your classes. As you move forward, you’ll need to consider at least two things: (1) What tabs to you plan to include in your navigation? How will you organize your portfolio and work?; (2) What will your “visual” and “oral” components be? Thus far you haven’t identified projects that will fit these two components. You could consider including your paradigm shift essay as well as your TED talk — these pieces work nicely together and the TED talk would fit the “oral communication” category. Your TIB essay would also be a good fit. In terms of your visual piece, perhaps you could include your history of a public controversy project. Let me know if you have questions, as you continue working on this project. -Anne
