About Me

Hello! I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at Penn State University, where I have received my M.A. in May of 2019. Previously I studied at SUNY Purchase, where I received my BA in Political Science and History in 2016. I will graduate in May 2021.

My research focuses on partisan animosity in the United States, with a particular focus on how it develops over the life-span and socializing experiences that attenuate rather than exacerbate it. Other work focuses on the consequences of an angry and polarized country for democratic health, as well as its its reciprocal relationship with partisan media consumption.
