Favorite TED Talk

My Favorite TED Talk is titled “An NFL quarterback on overcoming setbacks and self-doubt”. This TED Talk is given by Alex Smith, former Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Redskins quarterback. I really enjoyed this TED Talk because Alex Smith was a favorite football player of mine, and I have followed his story very closely. In 2018, Smith suffered a life threatening injury during a game, when his leg literally snapped. Smith talks about the hardships of overcoming the injury, and the mental strength it took to keep going. The inspiring thing about his story is that he made it all the way back to the NFL after doctors told him he would never walk again.

When it comes to my evolving ideas research paper, I have not given too much thought on what my topic is going to be. If anything, I might talk about societal evolution or something that I can relate to.
