The Jose Laboratory at The Pennsylvania State University, Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology is also affiliated with the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics, Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences. Our graduate students are part of the Molecular, Cellular, and Integrated Biosciences (MCIBS) and Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology (BMMB) graduate programs at The Pennsylvania State University. Using various molecular, cellular, and microscopy approaches, we focus on positive-strand RNA viruses and their impact on infected cells.
