Projects

Here are artifact outputs that serve as a portfolio. I have worked on for different projects, some are live while some were class projects. To view more about each project, please hover over the card slideshow for more information.

This project was an assigned re-design of my undergraduate major’s (Multimedia Web Design and Development) website at the University of Hartford. For my intro course, our job (I worked with a team of other students) was to design a new and clean template for our major. If chosen, the current live website layout was to adhere to our design. The website was developed locally, however, we have screenshots of our prototype. We used HTML 4.01, CSS, and JavaScript. We used PhotoShop for logo design

The project is a re-design of my research lab at Penn State. The lab is run by Drs. Jack Carroll and Mary Beth Rosson. We study a variety of research problems in different contexts. We needed a fresh and simple design with concise information, our last website was cluttered and outdated. I used WordPress and then tweaked code to my desire. This site is live, here is the link: Center for Human-Computer Interaction

The website is part of a research project. We hold summer technology camps for local middle school and highschool students in the State College area in the College of IST. Our intent was to build an online community for campers to use during and after camps to stay in touch, share ideas, and work on projects. I work with Top Aritajati and Dana Cinque. We used Drupal and other supporting frameworks like Bootstrap. This site is live, here is the link: iTech Academy

For my senior capstone (during the Fall of 2012 under the direction of Dr. Dorn) at the University of Hartford, a team of students and I developed a website application for a Mathematics Professor. This client wanted an in-house YouTube system to house custom-made videos, course content, and forums. This client wanted the system to be accessed by both students and faculty. Our team went through an agile methodology process. Our team rotated through various roles like developer, designer, and technical writer. The application was developed using the Joomla CMS and the client was given access to all files–and chose to either deploy or not. The site is not live but below are files related to the project, this includes: technical documents, screenshots, and other related files.
